About.

Simon Buret de Longagne

I am an SEO Manager & Software Developer focused on user experience, new technologies, and collaboration.

About me

Originally from Belgium, I came to California in 2012 to get my Master's after 7 years of music education in Belarus. In San Francisco, from music to software engineering and SEO, I enjoyed learning, improving and collaborating.

I started my career in music: owned a piano studio, taught music and directed musicals. In 2021, I decided to explore new horizons and got a scholarship for the full-stack bootcamp Hack Reactor. What a ride! After 6 months of intense learning, I got my first projects. I did UX research and built websites. I also continued my education in SF City College (Design and AWS).

Applications and system design are what got me really excited, and I was lucky to have great mentors. I gained experience in frontend (Web Development, React) and backend (REST API, AWS, TypeScript). Later, I joined the world of startups (lately with Spaciously) and gained experience in building, iterating and learning fast.
